Over Half of Cybersecurity Professionals Engage in Risky Behaviours at Work

Over half (55%) of cybersecurity professionals have admitted to engaging in risky cybersecurity behaviours while at work. This is according to a survey conducted at Infosecurity Europe 2023 (20 - 22 June) among 220 cybersecurity professionals on behalf of KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform. Indeed, one in every three respondents (33%) admitted to using entertainment or streaming services. This was followed by sharing personal information (15%), signing up to too many email subscriptions (15%) and opening malicious email attachments (13%).
